Aptitude

This scale consists 85 items divided into seven areas: I. Intelligence, II. Logical Thinking, III. Comprehension, IV. Mathematical Ability, V. Knowledge of Physics, VI. Knowledge of C.A., VII. Ability of Data Interpretation.

The effect of divided attention on the performance can be studied in the laboratory using this instrument. This Electrical wooden instrument top has two different patterns (a triangle & a circle) with a grove. The subject can trace the path with the stylus provide. A set of reset type impulse counters which are electrically connected will record the number of traces made by the subject.

It provides an objective measure of one important aspect of sales aptitude namely knowledge and understanding of basic principles of selling.

This test measures the mechanical aptitude of students of 13 years and above, and takes about 9 minutes to complete.

This test measures numerial ability of secondary school students. This test consists of 30 items which are divided in to two forms.

This 34 item questionnaire measures scientific aptitude through 7 areas of colleges students. They are: a) experimental bent, b) detection of inconsistencies or illogical conclusions, c) ability to arrive conclusions from the data provided, d) accuracy of interpretation, e) ability to reason and solve problems, f) caution and thoroughness, and g) accuracy of observation.

This test will measure teaching aptitude of elementary school teachers. This test consists of 120 items and measures teaching aptitude through 5 sub tests: (i) mental ability, (ii) attitude towards children, (iii) adaptability, (iv) professional information and (v) interest in profession. This test is standardized on 1090 teachers of primary T T I’s.

This scale consists of 35 items on 6 areas of teaching aptitude. It is standardized on 400 B.Ed., trainees.
