Eye-hand Coordination Test Apparatus
Eye hand coordination test apparatus is a wooden box with 100 metal key holes fixed in 10 X 10 rows and columns. Corresponding to each row a lace thread is tied to one end and a series of screws are provided to the other end. The subject has to insert the laces row wise from the first row and tie to the corresponding end points. Time taken to do so for all the rows will determine the eye hand coordination ability.

To achieve competence in activities requiring manual dexterity, speed of gross movements of hand and arm, and finger dexterity and coordination are necessary in varying degrees. Gross movements of hand and arm may be measured in terms of the speed with which the individual picks up and places cylindrical blocks in holes in a board. Finger dexterity and coordination, necessary in speed and accurate manipulation of objects may be tested by measuring the rate at which an individual is able to pick up, turn the block and replace in the holes in the board. M.R.M.T board consists of a wooden board with 58 symmetrical holes in a wooden tray. All the 58 holes are provided 58 symmetrically cylindrical wooden blocks painted red and blue on the opposite tops.
