Internet and Mobile Phone Reated Scales

  This scale measures the level of computer proficiency among teacher population.

   This scale consists 60 items divided into four Dimensions—I. Technological / Operational /Instrumentor, II. Information Processing and Management, III. Pedagogical / Knowledge Construction, and IV. Digital Citizenship. It was administered on 24 to 65 years age group.

   The scale consists 43 items in Six Dimensions, namely, I Conductive, II. Adaptive, III. Purposeful, IV. Comprehensible, V. Observant, VI. Proactive and Fourteen Factors: I. Aptness, II. Appraisal, III. Attuness, IV. Empowerment, V. Accessible, VI. Futuristic, VII. Interactive, VIII. Learness Focused IX. Optimal Utilization, X. Explicit, XI. Flexible, XII. Congenial, XIII. Innovation, XIV. Updation. It was administered on 300 respondents across different organizations.

This scale consists 28 items divided into Two Dimensions— I. Using Hardware, Software Device, II. Using Internet and Network. It was administered on Prospective Teachers.

   This scale consists 38 items divided into Eight Factors–I. Functional Impairment, II. Withdrawal, III. Occupational and Relationship Consequences, IV. Compulsive Behaviour, V. Obsession with Internet, VI. Internet as a Source of Recreation, VII. Enhanced Socialization, and VIII. Perceived Control of Internet Use. It was administered on age group 15 to 50 Years.

This mobile phone dependent is based on the conceptual dimensions of addictions prescribed by DSM IV-TR lists of seven criteria that are used to determine substance dependence. This scale consists of 37 items and developed on undergraduates and post graduates’ students.
