Tweezer dexterity refers to dexterity for handling tiny objects using tweezer. Tweezer dexterity board is a wooden board with a tray on one side and a metallic plate with 100 equal sized holes (to insert one pin at a time) on the other side. Small pins are provided with a tweezer.
Eye hand coordination test apparatus is a wooden box with 100 metal key holes fixed in 10 X 10 rows and columns. Corresponding to each row a lace thread is tied to one end and a series of screws are provided to the other end. The subject has to insert the laces row wise from the first row and tie to the corresponding end points. Time taken to do so for all the rows will determine the eye hand coordination ability.
The instrument is used to measure the dexterity of the subject while performing a task using hand tools such as spanners. The time scores are the taken as the performance factor. This instrument is very useful as a selection tool.
